Internet Literacy

The Internet - part of our lives and part of our future, so students need to learn how to use it accurately and responsibly. This series offers activities to help students read and comprehend online sources, proper rules for Internet etiquette (netiquette), and strategies for using the Internet as a reliable source for information and writing. Each 96-page, reproducible, softcover book offers over 40 lessons with activities on topics like identifying the parts of a website, how to read HTML, learning better ways to use Google, analyzing URLs commenting on a blog, reading text message language, etc. The information found in these books would be great for any beginner who doesn't understand the computer lingo that is presently being used. Teach your students to use the Internet rather than just haphazardly discovering things. These tools will be useful for the rest of their lives. TTFN! ~ Donna
