Letter Scrambles Journals
This resource provides interesting activities for expanding vocabulary and honing spelling skills. Each inexpensive journal provides 22 pages with a word at the top of each page. Students are then given instructions to “build words with these letters”; or asked “How many words can you make?” A small graphic plus three columns of lines (9/16” between) complete the page. Book 1 has six and seven letter words (ex. magnet, sweater) while Book 2 has eight letter words (ex. dinosaur). Answer keys are available in the back. Books are available singly or in sets of 5 or 20 copies.
